Drove US 51 through McFarland and the 4 lane stretch that isn't in that bad of shape is being rebuilt. When there's so many other roads that are in much worse shape how did rebuilding a road that's mostly 2 lanes without significant expansion become a major project? Most of the road isn't in that bad of shape.

This is the worst major project WISDOT has ever done. How about taking that money and putting it toward expanding I-90/94 or rebuilding I-94 between Madison and Waukesha?

Lawn mowing guys often do the same thing, blocking one person's driveway with their trailer while they mow someone else's lawn.

I have not seen that happen.

Happens a lot in my neighborhood, unfortunately.

That would be very frustrating. Though I wonder how much longer it is until we start seeing those little robots mowing people's yards. I've been seeing more and more of those in Los Angeles and the Oklahoma state Just announced they're gonna be using them to mow the state Grounds. I wonder if anyone here has one and what they think of them.

I don't have one but I saw one in operation about nine years ago, mowing a vast lawn in front of a former great house in Wales.  It seemed to be working fine.  There were signs up saying that while the robot would usually not attempt to mow persons or pets, it would be better if we didn't push our luck.

Be concerned once the CyberMower starts making odd requests.

The threshold for deducting medical expenses is so high that they didn't even make a difference when I went through a nine week chemotherapy treatment.

Yep.  A major surgery and about five chemo treatments didn't put me over the threshold either.

There is now a VA 366 posting on a Chesterfield County street sign at Brightpoint Community College's Chester campus. No VDOT signs yet.

Just saw it. It appears they put a pair of small decals with the route number onto the existing sign. Whatever, I'll take it.

The automated lawn mowers aren't fictional. I assume you're familiar with the Roomba vacuum? Similar types of devices exist for mowing the lawn. Here's a CNet article. I've never used one—I live in a townhouse and the lawn is simply too small to justify buying one of those—so I have no comments to add, but a Google search for "robot lawn mower" turned up a lot of devices.

Those robots exist but they aren't actually AI controlled. They're remotely piloted, similar to the robotic food delivery systems in a few cities.
