MPH

Looks like we are still on this one, with 40 and 45 having being guessed. I will try 30 mph.

I'm sure I know what it is at this point, but can't guess again yet...

Is it 25 mph? In a park or something, maybe?

It is indeed 25 and it's through a park. This is VA 161 just north of the Boulevard Bridge toll plaza. Ironically, the speed limit on the bridge itself (which is only 2 lanes and narrow) is 35.

Nice! I figured it couldn't be higher than 55, so that left 25 as the next highest choice. I'll have the next one up shortly.

I will lowball and guess 45.

45 mph is indeed correct! This is Mount Read Blvd in Rochester and I believe this is the nearest speed limit sign. It functions as an expressway of sorts, with some traffic lights, some exits, and a service road along part of its length. Overall, it's a strange roadway that's almost overbuilt in some respects given the presence of NY 390 one mile west. I wouldn't have any issue with 55 mph, but 45 mph isn't completely crazy. This is, after all, the same state that is home to NY 198...

Sounds about right for some of those New York State expressways. I guess they can post whatever they want but I'm not sure I would be going 45! Although I can talk all I want, I know driving a road is different.

I'll get something up soon! I checked the forums for a bit this morning and I only just checked back in.

EDIT: I swear I will post something soon. Ended up out late last night. My bad.

I'm not going to be near my computer for a while, so someone who hasn't gone for a while is more than welcome to take my turn.

I guess I'll claim this one.

45 and 55 are both incorrect, but good guesses.

OK, I'll try again... how about 40 mph?
