I think I recognize that location, but then again there are so many roads in the Toronto area that look similar that it could be somewhere completely different.

60 km/h?

Alas, no.

As for guessing which jurisdiction an intersection or road might be in, in Ontario, I find that every jurisdiction always has some subtle thing which distinguishes them from other jurisdictions (whether is signal colours or configs, road signs, road design, etc.). By experience, I can usually take a good guess as to where it is if I've travelled to that area a lot. I could dispell some of those once someone guesses this limit if there's interest.

Since I guessed the last one, I believe now you can guess mine:

80 km/h

That is the correct answer.

Here's a limit sign after the intersection shown.

The intersection in question, if you're interested, is Queen Street (Peel Regional Road 107) and The Gore Road (Peel Regional Road 8) in Brampton Ontario.

Oh that hotel was a Hampton Inn... I thought it was a Marriott and attempted to find the location of that pic with the hotel name.

Interesting. I was actually extremely close, I thought it was Hwy 7 in Woodbridge, just a mere km or two away. That's what prompted my 60 km/h guess.

One big giveaway that this is in Brampton is that "Bus only" sign right next to the slip lane, where buses wait before crossing the intersection into the bus stop, if it's a red light. In my observations, only Brampton does that.

But still, Hwy 7 has an 80 km/h limit in Woodbridge until the intersection before Highway 27 (Roybridge Gate).

I was actually looking on the other side of Hwy 27, in the vicinity of Martin Grove Rd/Kipling Ave. So much construction going on on that stretch (in Street View, at least) that it was a bit hard to tell if 60 km/h was a temporary limit or a permanent one!

Ya, 60 is permanent there

I don't think it's 60, but I'll go with that anyway. That knocks out 45-70.
