Contractor awarded for 10-lane Q-Bridge New Haven, CT
« on: August 01, 2009, 05:30:26 PM »

The CT DOT just awarded the contract for the new 10-Lane Q-Bridge in New Haven, CT on I-95.
This will be the first of it's kind in the US, an extradosed combo type bridge.

Also, the 2nd contract to build the new I-95/I-91/CT-34 interchange will be awarded next year.
(Although a smaller contract is making the connection from I-91 SB to I-95 SN 2-lanes is underway)

Note: the interchange is expected to cost more than the bridge itself!
