Proud to announce this and want to on its own thread.

As part of the 25th year of road meets in 2024, my father and I have been designing a permanent 25th year lanyard to wear at meets for this year and so on for eternity. As part of a deal with Dan Murphy (roadwaywiz), we will be printing and distributing these lanyards all year. There is a signup form here. You don't have to have attended a meet recently to get one of these.

The designs are still being finished, but I'm thrilled we're going to do this. The form has 5 notes: Name (Pronouns) | Handle | Home State | First Meet (Name, Year) | Website (optional).

Please sign up on the form I linked.

For those who wish to see what it looks like, and please do sign up!

I should clarify that it's not tied to any meet.

I honestly can't remember when my first meet was. I suspect it was a three-person job (Sherman Cahal, Pete Jenior, and me) at Greenbo Lake State Park in Kentucky when KY 67 (the Industrial Parkway) was under construction, but I'm not sure of the year of that meet.

Thank Pete for his old site, but May 2002. If you wish to have me send you one it would say Ohio Valley 2002.

The first batch of lanyards are done. I really emphasize you sign up if you've been to a meet period.

Also received mine, and then the cat felt it was her favorite thing to play with - saved it from her.
