Old Traffic Signals

Ditto!  If retrofitting is the only way to preserve them, versus removing them altogether for new signal heads then I'm in favor of it.

Why the two different kind of visors?  Kentucky still does that on brand new signals, and it looks silly.

Here is one in Maine on ME 27 in Boothbay Harbor. Its made by Marbelite and has a rare lens cap on the right:

Found these at the end of the U.S. 165 Business off-ramp of Interstate 20 east in Monroe, Louisiana. Retrofitted with LEDs for the red lens, but at least still in operation, though only in flash mode.
