I checked end of season standing and was shocked. Montreal finished 24-21-11, which in "a loss is a loss!" terms is 24-32, or .429.

You might have to go back to 1937-1938 for a worse record, where the Chicago Black Hawks (14-25-9, .385) won the whole thing.

Same. I might be a Habs fan, but considering how the team hasn't went to the Stanley Cup finals in a quarter of a century and the fact that they're one game from losing, I can't be too optimistic.
