How do baseball scorecard aficionados record "third baseman run over by car"?

I'm not familiar with baseball scorekeeping notation, so I went to Wikipedia:

Substitutions – When a substitution is made, a vertical line is drawn after the last at-bat for previous player, and the new player's name and number is written in the second line of the Player Information section.

So I'm guessing you put the make, model, and license plate number as the second line if the player was substituted by a car.

There are incorrect "TO"'s for SB I-55 and WB US 40 on the leftmost panel for this assembly on WB I-64 in East St. Louis.  Yet there is not a "TO" for NB IL 3 on the middle panel.  https://maps.app.goo.gl/NZVZGe6fVHdHcLYi7

Just because the SR shield is the wrong shape?

Yes, Norfolk is using a circle here instead if a regular state route shield.

I remember decades ago in Massachusetts, there were a few state shields exactly like that. Perhaps that was an older style (I didn't pay much attention to road signs when I was a kid), and they had missed upgrading a few.

Amaury

Quote from: Amaury on July 03, 2024, 01:47:14 PMHere's a good one that I hope someone from WSDOT notices and fixes. This should be US 395 "NORTH," not "west." I can understand mixing up US and state route shields, but directionality?

This is on Interstate 90 eastbound, just before milepost 271. The sign had needed repairs for a while, as it is not seen in Google Maps' captures from June 2023, the latest one, and August 2022, but is seen in the September 2021 capture before that, where the directionality is CORRECT: https://maps.app.goo.gl/fyK4Vhyw9mZDEZzF8 So, this signpost and these signs were recently installed with this error.

This error has been fixed.

^^ Not pertaining to this thread, but the signal on top of the bottom photo is violating the MUTCD rule that the insides of all visors must be a dull black color.

There are numerous signals in Hampton, VA that are in violation as well, though I believe they're all older signals.

No, it is for the next signal at the south end of the US 340/VA 55 concurrency.

I used to work at Prudential in Iselin, NJ where the driveway to the parking lot was right before the Garden State Parkway ramp.  Cars looking for the Parkway ramp were driving around Prudential's lot trying to find the road. :bigass:

After collecting tolls for several years, I have seen all the stupidity of the average citizen as they would pull up to the booth not knowing the simplest things about how s road sign works.
Every day is a winding road, you just got to get used to it.

It's an old poly LFE signal, and I have no doubt that it was originally painted black on the insides of the visors but just simply wore-away over time. No doubt the other poly LFEs in that photo are the same way.

This guide sign in Camden lists I-95 concurrent with the NJ Turnpike when in fact it's not as I-95 is across the Benjamin Franklin Bridge from this location on WB US 30.
