I will add it if you have one that I missed.
Count me in on two states. NJ from 1965 to 1990, and FL from 1990 to present.
There are many from FL on this forum and a couple I know from post observations that are from New Jersey.
I'm originally from Arkansas and lived there most of my life, so you could also put me in the Arkansas list if you so desire. I currently live about 85 miles from the Arkansas line and I'm one of the "go to" guys when it comes to Arkansas roads, along with US 71.

I feel like saying Idaho. :P
Also, we're looking at
from which state (i.e. home state), not
in which state, so Kurumi counts for CT, and roadman65 for FL probably.
Connecticut native here, representing Hard Hittin' New Britain, the home of The Stanley Works (a.k.a. the tool people) and the New Britain Rock Cats baseball club (AA-level Minnesota Twins). I've lived in southern Maine twice, but will always consider the Constitution State home, like it or not. :(
I do live in Montana, but I'm an Idahoan through and through, so whatever. If you're counting Kurumi for Connecticut, corco is probably Idaho. Though, oddly I've driven every mile of state highway in Washington, Wyoming, and Arizona but not Idaho, so whatever that means.
I know I'm not the only one in Delaware.
California, Oregon and Washington for me. I'm currently in Washington.
Bitmapped (Brian Powell) represents West Virginia.
Codyg(numbers I can't recall offhand) is Cody Goodman from Alabama.
Several from Michigan (AJ, Sam, Brian, and others).
Several also from North Carolina.
Billy Riddle is in South Carolina now, and Jason Ilyes in Tennessee.
Froggie might as well count as Vermont, although I think we have others.
You can add me for Wyoming, my birth state.
You could add me for New York (birth), Wisconsin (2nd birthday), Tennessee (3-9), Utah (18, 19, 22-24, college), and North Carolina (26-29). (I was in Italy for #20 and 21.)
I can think of at least 3 for Louisiana: Sanctimoniously, bassoon1986, and cjk374. There was also mcdonaat but he hasn't been active in months.
There are a couple for Iowa and Indiana but I can't remember their names.
Roadfro for Nevada and SD Mapman for South Dakota.

That's funny, because mine is yours but reversed: 1994-2002 Florida, then 2002-present in New Jersey. :) For New Jersey, I know that Steve is a definite for that, and jeffandnicole is a maybe.
For Indiana, I would suspect Indyroads as being from there.

I still consider Kent county home even after living in Florida 33 yrs. I read the Delaware State News online daily and I expect to move

You might as well put Froggie down for Minnesota, too, as he seems to keep a better record of state route logs, MN/DOT, and even county DOT plans than I do.
Well, he is a native of Minnesota, so...
Jardine = Iowa

Doesn't matter. We're just looking for one from each state. Not "representing", but "from." Oscar or I could represent Hawaii, but neither of us are from there.
From Ohio, but live in Kentucky. Since we already have people from those, we're good here.
What states are left?
Alaska
Arizona
Hawaii (I'd count Oscar)
Mississippi
Missouri
Nebraska
New Mexico
North Dakota
Rhode Island

While I'm a frequent visitor to Hawaii, and Alaska too (six visits to Hawaii beginning in 1999, five to Alaska beginning in 1994), that's not the same as being there more or less full-time.
I think Sonic99 is from Arizona. I've driven the entire state highway system and lived there for two years, but I'm probably not "from" there. Same applies with Wyoming, which we're also missing.
If we're not so stringent on our definition of active, you could switch Billy F 1988 to Wyoming, me to Montana, and SpudMuffin to Idaho. I think there's one other Boise area infrequent poster- not sure who though.

He'll probably be back. "Active" requires a definition, and the stricter you make the definition, the more holes you leave.

I hardly think this is "almost" - Lebanon is about 1000 miles south http://www.gcmap.com/mapui?P=ROM-SYD (Liverpool in the eastern hemisphere is a suburb of Sydney. There might be others, though this is the best for that line) - the line barely clips the northern tip of Iraq.
Or was this (http://www.gcmap.com/mapui?P=BEY-ROM-LPL-BEY) the kind of thing you were thinking of. Note that this Liverpool is about 3 degrees into the Western Hemisphere and it is still not right!

Quote from: corco on January 01, 2014, 01:17:53 PMThe timing of his inactivity indicates we scared him away at the Wichita meet, though he seemed to have a good time
I don't think we scared him off. I suspect something may have surfaced in real life that has diverted his attention elsewhere. His account profile shows a last logged-in date in early November, while his last post was on September 6, and was part of a five-day, 45-post burst (September 2-6). Before that (no posts at all in August), there were a solid 22 posts made in the four days following the Wichita meet (July 20). I have received text messages from him intermittently over the past few months, all on road-related topics, the last being on December 23, so he is still in the hobby.
That's good- he seemed like a cool dude, so I hope all is well for him.
I chat with him on occasion. mainly on the topic of Mexican license plate spottings.
(Nayarit!)
In two years in Tucson I saw more Sinaloas and Jaliscos than I can count (in addition to the border states), but I don't recall ever seeing a Nayarit- and believe me, I was on the lookout for them. I figured if I was seeing a Jalisco plate at least once every day, I'd be bound to eventually see a Nayarit plate. No luck.
Inspired by this thread (https://www.aaroads.com/forum/index.php?topic=21943.0) I considered making a new topic asking this question, but then realized we already have this one. So do we officially have an active member from every state? Has the list changed much?

But that's the implied point I was making about my location signature, your statistics won't be correct. A lot of users don't list where they live and others do weird references. So basically it's a frivolous effort to spend time making a chart on. Besides you can get a gist of where people are by how popular certain states are in conversation.

Regarding the still empty spots on the collective list:
Regarding Delaware, I believe that is where Alex (our very own Webmaster here at AARoads) is from, if I recall correctly. Also, there is Alex4897, who is in Delaware.
Regarding Mississippi, there's golden eagle (https://www.aaroads.com/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=1150).
I think ColossalBlocks (https://www.aaroads.com/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=13686) has some kind of association with Missouri, whether it be the place he is from, currently resides, or something else.
This thread (https://www.aaroads.com/forum/index.php?topic=21681.0) in the Welcome board is actually specifically about forum users in or from Ohio, so in that thread you can see a few different people on here who are from that state.
I think wriddle082 (https://www.aaroads.com/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=1143) has some kind of association with South Carolina.
While it would probably be incredibly hard to create, as has been noted, it would indeed be extremely cool to have a forum member general map, if it ever was feasible.

*sigh*
I too kind of do that but I would not post promotion in a typical post. Instead, I do an update on my fictional plans page on heavy posts (500, 1000, 1500, 3000)
I would suggest that with the volume of information currently on the Web, physical location is less important than it was in the late nineties/early noughties. I am based in Kansas but since my chief road-related interest is signing plans, my "beat" is anywhere these plans are available electronically, including about 40 US states and 12 foreign countries.

If that's the only reason you're posting (to bump your status), you're doing it wrong. :pan:

I was in Ohio, I am now in Oklahoma.
As far as I know, for Ohio we have me, Central Avenue, Hot Rod Hootenany, that guy with the OH-113 avatar, and OKRoads (who apparently traded places with JMoses).

There's 6a also. According to his profile, he's in Hilliard.
Do we have currently active participants residing in HI, AK, MT, ND, or NH? Aside from those, I can think of at least one person per state who currently posts, though representation on this forum loosely tracks state population.

Both have been active on this site within the last week.
So that would narrow it down to HI, AK, and ND.
