Fun fact about Cliff Drive over US-65:  this otherwise completely un-noteworthy three-way intersection nearby has an all-way stop because, years ago, the mayor lived over there and decided people were driving too fast through his neighborhood.

(I just tried confirming the details with my wife, but she doesn't remember telling me all about it twenty years ago...)

That rubric was epic.  Too bad that the current climate will not allow such a thing.  We now have terrible anomalies to the system.

It's an interesting video, but pure public relations by the NJTA patting themselves on back for doing such a fine job expanding the Turnpike to meet future traffic needs. Reasonably true though......

That's great and all, but I'm looking for the worst possible answer.

It's like they had a bridge kit all prefabbed and then realized it was 20 feet too short in the middle.

I have to admit this tunnel section of US 65 was a surprise to drive on.

The like button was removed because it was generating too many messages in the site's error log. I have a fix for it but I'm waiting on Alex.

Yeah, I like to think that most of us are understanding of what a pain it has become to host this thing.

I'll come back and like both of these posts once it's back 😁。

Yes.  A few days ago.  I've bookmarked it for viewing when I have the time and energy.

I always heard Tonnelle Ave. pronounced like "Donnelly" on traffic reports on WCBS 880 am before that station flipped from all news to sports talk, then I stopped listening.

There is a Tulare County Mountain Road 50A which serves as a driveway into a Senior Center in California Hot Springs.  The weird thing is that it beings at Tulare County Mountain Road 56 (Hot Springs Road) and doesn't touch Mountain Road 50.  Mountain Road 50 (Parker Pass Road) starts about a mile to the east at USFS Work Center.
