I wonder what other artifacts the USPS still holds onto & not know it yet...Articles of Confederation?  Emancipation Proclamation?  Marilyn's love letters to JFK?   :hmmm:

I'm sure exactly the same thing could happen with UPS. It's just more likely that UPS would toss the package rather than deliver it, since it was lost for so long and there's no profit in delivering a package with a dead sender and recipient, so we would never hear of it.
