Photo grossly exceeds forum size limits, to the point that it was hard for me to find the Elmira and other place name signs until I went to preview mode. Can you shrink it to no larger than 800 pixels wide x 600 pixels tall?

Even though it's in the plains, it does have at least a few trees. The ones pictured in the link might have been grown by humans, though.
