This is unusual for a bridge over a freeway to be supported by a precast span and the approach the conventional method.
Every day is a winding road, you just got to get used to it.

Are you referring to any mixed beam type bridges? If so, 50th St over I-235 does the reverse, with precast beams on the approach and metal beams over the freeway.

There are also 2 examples at the junction of OK-75 and the Kilpatrick Turnpike.

Looking around for examples has actually given quite a few examples, so this type of arrangement seems pretty common.
I build roads on Minecraft. Like, really good roads.
Interstates traveled:
4/5/10*/11**/12**/15/25*/29*/35(E/W[TX])/40*/44**/49(LA**)/55*/64**/65/66*/70°/71*76(PA*,CO*)/78*°/80*/95°/99(PA**,NY**)

*/** indicates a terminus/termini being traveled
° Indicates a gap (I.E Breezwood, PA.)

more room plz

No big deal. There's a cast-in-place box beam where unusually long spans are required due to a severe skew angle, and AASHTO beams everywhere else.

Here's another way of dealing with the problem of spans too long for AASHTO beams: click me

I see your weird peir cap that looks ugly but also makes standard beam lengths possible over this span, and give you this monstrosity. it might have been cheaper to just build a really wide perpendicular bridge with the road only using part of the deck, like thjs.

I prefer the deck to be left open, like this. These are called pergolas.
