Potential Burlington, VT meet: mid summer, late fall or wait until 2027?

I've been slowly pondering this in my head for a number of months but Alex's posting of pictures this week finally pushed me to throw this out there.

All indications are that the (too) long-awaited Champlain Parkway will fully open sometime this summer.  As I mentioned a couple years ago in another thread, this would be the key part of a Burlington area road meet though there are other items of interest in the area as well.

The question is timing.  The construction contract stipulates the end of June, but it wouldn't be the first time a project ran late if that doesn't happen.  There are also some time periods (in particular late July/early August, most of September, and the first part of October) that I have to block off for personal reasons.  So here's some possibilities:

- Mid-July, though that depends in part on what Steve decides for his Jersey bridge meet.

- Late August.  Last weekend would work best for me since my wife is off at concerts going into that weekend.  But depends on when Laura resurfaces with her Frederick/Harpers Ferry meet.

- Mid/late October.  Two other potential meets to work around.

- Wait until 2027.  This because once we get into November and the end of Daylight Savings, evening daylight is all but non-existent here.  Though to be fair that hasn't stopped us from having November meets in Vermont before (2013 and 2015).

What say the hive mind?

Mid-July = Extra Miler Club and Brandon's Chicago meet.

August, I'm just busy. :D

October sounds nice, though, despite California and...MN, is it?

Everything is open AFAIC, but I am going away mid-June so would like a little delay before traveling again.

I've been meaning to get up there to check out the Parkway once it's done, so a roadmeet would work with that.  That said, my schedule is pretty full for July and I don't think our October availabilities overlap much.  August depends on whether the Frederick meet happens; that last weekend I'm unavailable.

I would be game for a Burlington meet (It would give me an excuse to check out the the NE corner of New York since I never seem to make it up that way).  I'm going to be doing quite a bit of travelling in the next month or so.  August is probably more ideal for me right now  considering that as fall approaches, my weekend availability will become more limited due to work.

I'm definitely interested, but I'll be on a business trip from the end of July to the beginning of August.  The other proposed times would probably work for me.

Definitely interested but for me I choose "hold off until 2027" since I am about to go into a very busy summer with Steph and I being on the road most of July, my own meet next weekend and I am co-hosting a 35 year high school reunion in August

Excluding any influence the Frederick meet might have on availability, the best dates for me in the months mentioned would be August 15, August 22, October 10/11, or October 31 (also October 3, but that's early October).

I'll let others help decide when the meet can take place, and I'll make plans to attend based on my availability. Burlington isn't that far and I can pop up for a day quite easily.

There was also a November meet in Bennington in 2011, so that makes a third Vermont meet that took place in November.

Actually, come to think of it, 2027 would probably be easier for me because I'm already using a whole batch of my vacation days for my Midwest trip this summer, and Burlington is far enough away that I'd want to stay for more than just the day of the meet.
