Quote from: hbelkins on Today at 01:06:55 PMWhy get your panties in a wad over this? Have you never seen an occurrence of the cops, having the choice of vehicles/motorists to pull over and give a revenue-generating ticket, choose only one of them and let the other one go? That's pretty much the definition of "random taxation."The issue I have is that it's literally impossible to tell if he has a legitimate point or if he's an insane sovereign citizen type who doesn't think he should pay vehicle registration fees. But if I enquire further into this, I'm probably the one who would receive the brunt end from moderation.
And that's not an overtly political position to take. I've seen conservatives and liberals alike decry traffic enforcement.

We've probably already covered it in this very thread already too, but I don't want to go searching through all two bazillion posts to confirm that.
Quote from: JayhawkCO on Today at 05:09:58 PMIn addition, unless you actually have GMaps plan a route, it doesn't show up as closed right now.
Quote from: jlam on Today at 04:25:31 PMQuote from: JayhawkCO on Today at 09:21:49 AMAll of a sudden, GMaps has Chaffee County CR306 (the road that goes over Cottonwood Pass between Buena Vista and near Crested Butte) listed as CO306. As this whole route for paved a few years back, I had to double check to make sure that CODOT hadn't designated it a state route. If it had been, it would have been only the third seasonal state route in Colorado (after CO82 and CO5). But nope. Just a goof.
It was SH 306 up until 1984 per Wikipedia. It's not like this is a new occurrence either; a bunch of former highways are still on Google Maps.
Quote from: Beltway on Today at 03:04:47 PMI am getting conflicting reports online about this question --
What parts of the new US-460 Corridor Q are open to traffic between Pikeville KY and Grundy VA
One mentions a recent opening to VA-744 at Southern Gap and I don't see any VA-744 on the VDOT Buchanan County map.
I know some people here have driven this area recently.

I just wanted you to know Alanlore has become the office sensation. We all hope for and dread the return of the Age of Tasteful Beige.
Have you showed them the wiki?
