NIU only got 19 votes  :confused: :angry: A record breaking QB, 12-1 run, Orange Bowl berth, 5 years straight in a bowl, and 2 conference championships out of 3 back-to-back-to-back appearances.  :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Alabama is #1, followed by Ohio State. #25 surprise is Oregon State

Once again, the poll is dominated by the SEC. 5 teams in the top 10, 6 in the top 25, and a staggering 11 receiving votes. Of course, this is only preseason.

Also, this should belong in Sports.

My bad, if a mod wouldn't mind moving this to sports. SEC is the ratings for NCAAF, so of course 11 teams will be voted for  :-/

I noticed that the Arkansas Razorbacks have some votes in some of these polls.  After the abortion that was last season (they should have just cancelled the season once Petrino got termed) just being mentioned in a top 25 poll.
