Title: Sources of statewide AADT data/shapefiles
Post by: froggie on August 11, 2013, 04:54:22 AM
Related to the US traffic volume map thread (https://www.aaroads.com/forum/index.php?topic=9806.0).  I'm looking at updating the maps I created for that thread with more recent traffic volume data, as well as adding select non-Interstate highways.  The national set I used for those maps, as I found out, is 2002 traffic data.  I'd like to find more recent data and here's where I was hoping you all could help me out, so I can focus my limited bandwidth (and time) on getting the data during my next couple port visits.

Shapefiles would be an extra plus (eliminates having to hand-code the data into GIS), but I'll take whatever format I can find the data in.

My target year is 2010, though I'll take data anywhere in the 2009-2013 range.

I only have current GIS files for Florida, Minnesota, and Vermont, though I have current non-GIS data for Maryland, Tennessee, and Virginia.  Looking for data period for all of the remaining states plus Puerto Rico.

Thanks in advance!

Includes a traffic count field titled "ADT".

You should find easily data for Pennsylvania on the PASDA website : http://www.pasda.psu.edu/

Thanks guys, I was indeed able to grab those, as well as Maryland, Virginia, New York, and North Carolina.  The PA and OK ones don't specify which year the counts took place, and I didn't see that info in the metadata either.
