* It appears that may be some sort of widening in the works for I-72 between IL 4 and the MacArthur extension on the south side of Springfield, but only funded for plan development.
* Some possible progress for the US 67 expressway in Jersey County after 2014.
* Still acquiring land for the Gateway Connector.
* Three more miles of expressway for US 45 near Eldorado
CUMBERLAND FLYOVER
I-190 added lanes
I 90 I-190 TO ILL 43 added lanes are needed.
Any one have the I-190 planes? also the US 12 / 45 work (on going now) seems to be tied to that.

The last page of the of this study for O'Hare shows what I think is still proposed for I-190 at US 12/US 45:

I believe the I-190 interchange with River Road was also have the SB to EB entrance loop replaced with a jughandle type turn.
the river road part is not in the airport plans

That part's from memory of a display I saw several months ago - I haven't found an online map for the project. Given the rumors that the 'Cumberland Flyover' may be changed to a much simpler C-D roadway, IDOT may be tinkering with the design for I-190 at River Road.

Not only that, but the work is also due to the intersection redo of IL-19 at US 12/45, partly in preparation for the Elgin-O'Hare bypass
Bumping this thread. I'm surprised no mention was made on here of the Circle Interchange reconstruction. This is obviously a big one upcoming. While it will be a huge mess and seems to be causing much controversy, it's much needed IMO.
