Title: Very strange colored roads on Google Maps

This is strange on Google Maps.

Those are ski trails, with the color based on rating (Black = diamond, etc)

Interesting colors!  I didn't know Google Maps showed ski trails.

Neither did I; zoom in further and the red dotted lines show where the lifts are.

Yes, they do, and some even have Street View coverage.
