Afternoon!
For my graduating project, I'm developing a road here in Myrtle Beach, SC (not an actual road). I've been trying to figure out how to get geographic/GIS Data into AutoCAD so I can work on developing the proposed corridor. Contacting the City and County hasn't returned much fruit thus far. I'm basically looking for parcel data, cross streets/highways and geographic features that will help make this project as accurate as possible.
Any help would be great.
Thanks!
Highway use TIGER (http://www.census.gov/geo/maps-data/data/tiger.html). For parcels, I don't know South Carolina at all but a lot of state assessors office have parcel layers available for download.
For other stuff I assume you've seen http://www.gis.sc.gov/data.html
I've tried the Horry County GIS Service but I can't upload it into AutoCAD to work with.
Your Google Maps Engine map isn't public, we can't see it.
Changed the settings, should be available by clicking the link
It sounds like the County sells GIS Data, but I haven't gotten a response from the GIS department about it. If it's too expensive, I'll just have to wing it.

Edit: Here is a rough outline of where I am working with, the proposed corridor is in yellow. It maybe hard to see, for which I apologize.
