Title: U.S. 290 west of Austin expansion project
Post by: ethanhopkin14 on January 22, 2014, 04:40:37 PM
So the US 290 expansion project is underway in Oak Hill.  After years and years of neglect, is this really the expansion to freeway we have all been told about?  And if so it is another push in the direction to my hopefully planned Interstate 18. Has anyone heard if this is the freeway expansion or not?

TxDOT has a Web site dedicated to the project: http://my290.com (http://my290.com)

By the looks of that site, it's for what's going on in the Houston area, not the Austin work.

From what I seen, this project is from I-610/I-10(direct connections) to Grand Parkway. Not a full expansion of interstate level work to Austin.
