Title: Baltimore's Zipper Crosswalk
Post by: talllguy on April 06, 2014, 03:52:37 AM
Baltimore is full of charming road related oddities for the road enthusiast. Here's an odd crosswalk design.

There's also another one nearby with hopscotch (http://changingmediagroup.com/baltimores-fly-undone-power-whimsy-zippers-hopscotch/) markings.

Any other unique crosswalk hatchings out there?

When did they add these? It had to have been this year or the end of last year.

Talllguy, can you tell us which intersection these can be found?

The zipper one is at Eutaw and Fayette Streets, and the last pic is at Eutaw and Lombard Sts.

Correct. I took the pictures at Eutaw & Fayette, and I found the Hopscotch picture elsewhere on Flickr.

That's clever. I'd like to see someone paint a zipper in the middle of a major artery split, like 10/12 in Baton Rouge.
