Title: Win 7-Photo Print from Windows Explorer not working-goes to fax prompts
Post by: Brian556 on April 09, 2014, 11:10:23 AM
Have any of y'all heard of or experienced this problem? When I attempt to print a picture from Windows Explorer, it goes to a fax setup prompt, and does not allow me to print the picture.

This is a new problem.

I'm wondering if a file became corrupt on it's own or what. It seems odd that it is basically going into something that it is not supposed to...it's like the linkage magically changed.

Would it be possible to replace just the Windows Photo Viewer file instead of reloading Windows?

It is simple, go to the start menu, devices and printers, and set your printer to be the default

My printer was already the default printer. However, I did go into devices and printers and just deleted the fax. That solved the problem. You did get me on the right rack to fixing it,  so thanks.
