Title: Moving Trip Dallas area to Atlanta Area
Post by: dfwtbear on May 05, 2014, 04:03:52 PM
I am looking for advice on routing on a moving trip from Carrollton, TX (Dallas) to Stockbridge, GA (Atlanta).
I'll be driving a 14 foot U-Haul towing a compact car. Mostly concerned with narrow lanes for construction or just any advice that this forum can provide. I am leaving May 28th and allowing 2 or 2 1/2 days for the trip.

I'd say watch out for Smokey Bears in East Texas, but since most U-Hauls have governors on them, you shouldn't have to worry.

have a sports car drive in front of the moving truck so they don't find your Coors

Okay.  Google Maps just revamped and when it shows you the route it shows you construction now too.
