Title: Bay Area dad makes son’s dream come true, builds backyard roller coaster

From SF Gate:

Bay Area dad makes son's dream come true, builds backyard roller coaster
QuoteAll dads get requests to build crazy stuff from their kids: Can we build a race car? A castle with a moat and drawbridge? Why not an airplane?

While most dads say no to these outlandish ideas, Will Pemble, 50, tries to say yes because he wants his children, Lyle, 10, and Ellie, 12, to believe that anything is possible if you're willing to put forth the effort. So when Lyle asked to build a roller coaster in the backyard, Pemble couldn't help but agree.

The obvious reasons to not build the coaster rolled through Pemble's mind: the expense, the time, the insurance. "But none of those reasons seemed good enough to not do it,"  he says. "I try to say yes, rather than, "˜No, you'll poke your eye out.'"
