Title: Construction project to impact Memorial Day traffic on I-280

This Project closes the north end of I-280 in San Francisco for renovations.

It should be noted that the closure is for southbound I-280 only.  Northbound 280 remains open to traffic.

Northbound 280 will be closed July 4th Weekend by Caltrans Press release.

That closure has been plastered all over the S.F. Bay Area on the changeable message signs (CMS).  The closure actually starts on Wednesday, July 2nd with I-280 being reopened early Monday, July 7th.
