Title: Waze vs Trapster
Post by: ZLoth on June 08, 2014, 01:10:25 AM
OK, I've been trying out the Waze app on my Android. Any differences between Waze and Trapster? Which is better?

I find that Waze has more features in general. Traffic information, routing, sharing ETAs, etc.

(Also, the latest version of Trapster does nothing but crash on my iPhones 3GS.)

I use waze, rampant battery usage notwithstanding. I find it much like a GPS in that it gives directions, etc. but it also does the things trapster does.

I've generally found Waze more useful than most apps in its class, although lately it's been having issues with regard to displaying correct GPS-based locations. Google Maps will know where I am, but Waze will have me in the middle of a lake a few miles away. I imagine an update might fix this.
