I came across an article about a family who took a road trip from Texas to New Hampshire using only Bitcoin, with the exception of paying tolls around New York City. That being said, I will not be able to go to the NYC Road Meet using only Bitcoin funds.

Sounds like wayyyyyyyyy more trouble than it's worth.
For the gas cards, they had to basically prepay for their gas before their trip, figuring out where all their stops would be. If the gas station they had gift cards for was the more expensive gas station in the area, they were stuck paying the higher price, rather than choosing the less expensive options.
Then later, they state how they had issues trying to book one hotel, with a captain just below the picture stating how booking hotels has been hassle-free.

Let me guess, they were going to the Porcupine Freedom Festival.
The real challenge would have been trying to pay with dogecoin ;)
Quatloos are the currency of choice for me. I'm "enthralled"...LOL!
