Do you think they should extend I-20 from Florence, SC to Wilmington, NC? I personally think it would be a good idea, and there's a stretch of US 74/US 76 near Whiteville, NC that's a freeway that they could use.
A summary of some of the attempts to do so:

I'd do it via Myrtle Beach, taking over the I-73/I-74 routes (perhaps with a different route to I-73 near I-95) until the nonsensical I-74 curve - just continue along US17 and then take over I-140.
First priority would be I-95 to Myrtle Beach, less important is upgrading US17.
I know this has been discussed many times over, I will say that the I-73/ I-74 thing needs to go in favor of this. Have I-20 follow US 76 to Wilmington with a brief overlap with I-95 around Florence. Have only I-73 come in from the north and and crossing I-20 with it acting as a spur into Myrtle Beach.
The I-74 thing has been agreed as needing to be a Charlotte to Wilmington interstate with a 3x number and not part of the I-73/ I-74 thing.
Teetering on the Fictional Highways line here. If nothing else, this thread probably belongs in Southeast.

True. After I posted it I thought to myself that it would've been more appropriate for the "Southeast" section, but still, people nationwide might know about I-20's possible extension. Still new to the site, and this was my first real post so I'll do better next time, lol.
It's been discussed before:
- Southeast Thread https://www.aaroads.com/forum/index.php?topic=1780.0 (https://www.aaroads.com/forum/index.php?topic=1780.0)

Spoilers: It starts off as "wouldn't it be great if..." and eventually ends with "not going to happen in our lifetimes."
