Title: 6.0 Earthquake in American Canyon, CA
Post by: ZLoth on August 24, 2014, 07:16:26 AM
At 3:20 AM this morning, a 6.0 Earthquake was experienced in American Canyon, CA (http://markholtz.info/-m) and felt as far as Sacramento, CA (I felt it) and Tracy, CA. No word on any bridge damage, considering the questionable condition of the new bay bridge, this would be interesting.

A month from now we would have been (and may still be) sitting in the RV park (not a mobile home park) in Napa. The mobile home park undoubtedly has experienced severing of fixed gas lines serving housing units, whereas at an RV park everyone has their own small propane tank.

It was sad seeing the video of the historic buildings damaged in downtown Napa. Best wishes, and stay safe! There will definitely be more aftershocks.
