Driving through Tunnel Hill (PA) yesterday on Tunnelhill Street, I noticed three or four "Speed Limit 25 - Your Speed Is" signs, which I presume are for the current PA 53 detour between Cresson and Gallitizin.
I also noted a number of bagged signs as well - anybody out there have any idea what they are for?
Gallitzin? The pride and joy of Cambria County? Ha ha! I know it's southwest of Altoona (Blair County). I know it's a big area as it relates to trains. (OK, I have a good friend in that town. How else would I know where it was?) :)

Welcome to the club, roadman. I drove around Tunnelhill and Gallitzin on my Horseshoe Curve vacation this past July. (I remember seeing only one "Your speed is" sign, in Tunnelhill just off of the U.S. 22 freeway.

They must've been put in since my visit. ;-)

Railfans probably would. On my Gallitzin/Tunnelhill wanderings I saw and conversed with a teenage railfan photographing an eastbound Norfolk Southern freight cresting the eastbound grade (bypassing the westbound tunnel). He had a couple of radio scanners with him. I wished him the best of luck in his hobby.
