I was out driving today on US 20 Eastbound in Lorain County, OH and found a ROAD TEST sign. It had been a while since I saw one - my last one being in NY state on I-88 but was removed about a few years ago. Are there others out there remaining?

My (limited) knowledge of this program is that it was the "Strategic Highway Research Program" and I found that it had evolved in to a 2nd stage but does not involve any kind of signage. I believe a few of Ohio's signs are still posted but I was just curious if anyone in the forum has come across any.
Enjoy your day/weekend
Here's a 'Begin Test' sign on I-95 North overtop of DE 72.

Used to be quite a few in Kentucky; not sure if any of them remain.
good info folks - thank you
What I saw the subject of this thread, I thought it was about the signs telling you that the road test is administered in the area and that you're not allowed to drive on those streets with a permit.
My apologies if I mislead you - these signs were once displayed on upstate NY roads too.
My apologies to all - even the link I posted did not go directly to the image I was referring to. I am still learning how to attach an image to the body of the message. I will get better I promise. :-D
I almost got it.. clicking on SHRP Road Test 395003 will now at least lead to the photo..

Still playing with the code but to give one and all an idea to which I am referring
It was pointed out at the Corning meet this past spring that the test pavement section on NY 17 west of Binghamton was in perfect shape while the newer pavement before and after it was riddled with potholes.
Successful test, I guess?
