Title: Milford Parkway now has exit numbers!
Post by: dgolub on October 19, 2014, 10:51:30 AM
At yesterday's Merritt Parkway road meet, some of us accidentally made a wrong turn and wound up on the Milford Parkway.  We discovered that they've replaced all the signs there, and the exits now have numbers.  Interesting, considering that this is a very short parkway that isn't even sign by name in most places and none of the exits are accessible from both directions.

I checked Google Street View yesterday evening, and they have 2012 photos showing the new signage, so it seems that it's been there for at least two years, it's just that none of us had been up that way since then.

Eh? This was definitely discussed before. I knew it was going to happen before it actually did.

It was announced on the forum October 6, 2011 (https://www.aaroads.com/forum/index.php?topic=1898.msg117993#msg117993) and confirmed to have been implemented August 18, 2012 (https://www.aaroads.com/forum/index.php?topic=1898.msg169018#msg169018).

Well, I guess I never noticed that posting.  It was news to everyone in my car.
