Title: Business Routes that traverses 2 states

Are there any business loops or business routes that cross state lines before meeting back with its parent?

In some life, US 1 and/or 9 Business through the Holland Tunnel, and US 1 "Alternate" (and/or Business) through Trenton, both left in NJ after being pulled back from NY and PA respectively.

Business I-8 in Winterhaven, CA-Yuma, AZ

Business US 2, Grand Forks ND into MN

Now that we've come up with some of these, a more interesting question: are there any multi-state business spurs (either officially signed as spurs or otherwise not returning to the parent)? I very much doubt it, but let's see what we can find.

PS: also, how about multi-state business routes of multi-state state routes?

I-94 Business, starting in Fargo ND and ending in Moorhead MN.

I-80 Business, starting in Pine Bluffs WY and ending just east of the Nebraska state line.

Not really:  I-40 Business Spur in Texas serves Del Rio NM, but the route ends at the state line.  Del Rio itself barely exists, this is just one of the Texas business routes that serve hardly any businesses, and serve communities well on their way to drying up and blowing away.

By the barest of smidgens, US-29 Business near and through Danville, Virginia (the interchange where the business and bypass routes split from each other straddles the state line, and the ramps that carry the bypass route leave/join the business route on the North Carolina side).

From Clinched Highway Mapping, here's what I've found:

I-8 BL Yuma (CA-AZ)
I-80 BL Wendover (NV-UT)
I-80 BL Pine Bluffs (WY-NE)
I-94 BL Fargo (ND-MN)
US2 Bus Grand Forks (ND-MN)
US20 Bus South Sioux City (NE-IA)
US25 Bus Augusta (GA-SC)
US60 Bus Seneca (OK-MO)
US93 Bus Wendover (NV-UT)
US701 Bus Tabor City (SC-NC)

Shockingly few, given the sheer number of routes we're looking at (in the ball park of 1000) and I think we had most of them in the thread anyway.

Glenrio, not Del Rio. Old routing of US 66 that they couldn't take off the books, because the county wouldn't have any reason to want to take over maintenance of it (not that it looks like it has seen any maintenance in the last 30 or 40 years anyway). Probably should have just left it as Spur 504 though, rather than making it a business route of I-40.

I guess you could call out Spur US 95 between US 95 in Weiser, ID and Oregon 201, crossing the Snake River (Very Old US 630). However, Spur US 95 is not a true "business spur" since it is signed as simply Spur US 95. Google Maps shows the whole spur route as "Bus US 95."

A bit off topic, is it just me or is that route very poorly signed? Taking the long way around (mostly to avoid construction on I-84), we were driving North on US-95 and were going to cross at Weiser to get to OR-201 North to I-84 towards Baker City. Neither me or my Dad saw any signs pointing to Spur US 95, Baker City, or anything like that on Northbound 95. Once we started leaving Weiser, we turned around and managed to find our way to it, but it seemed weird that there weren't any signs for it, or we were just blind. Once we were on the Spur going through downtown, there was some signage for it though.

I-80 BL in Pine Bluffs is signed as US 30 Business in places and from US 30 WB in Nebraska they direct US 30 over to Exit 1 and I-80 while 30 Business continues ahead.  Also there is a US 30 East reassurance sign on I-80 east between Exit 401 and the Nebraska line...

US2 Business Ironwood, MI "was", but it ends at the WI state line 1 block east of the US-51/WIS 77 intersection in Hurley.  WisDOT pulled the plug on its portion which turned north on US-51 from 77 back up to 2 in 2002. (WisDOT had struck many BRs from the books in the early 2000's)

This is flirting with fictional territory, but say Arkansas and Missouri reroute 71 on the BVB, the "former" route can become 71B in AR and Business 71 in MO therefore making it fit in the post.

I didn't think that was marked? It's not in TDOT files, although some old 59 signs still exist along the old routing on State Line Avenue.

I remember seeing a US 59B shield (the only xB shield I'm aware of in Texas) on SB State Line Avenue (with no corresponding US 71 shield) but it's been years since I saw it.

Not just you- Idaho doesn't want to cause confusion for travelers on US 95. There are signs that say "TRUCK ROUTE TO OREGON" and that doesn't follow the exact route of 95 Spur, but will get you to it.
