I took this photo on the way to Boston. It is a major cropped photo (its normally a photo of 3 signs on a sign gantry). This was found on CT 15 approaching I-84/Silver Lane in Hartford, CT. Now the reason I am showing this is that there are bullet holes in the sign!!! Looks like that must have been an angry driver (which would be typical since traffic in that area is massive!!!)!!!

If that didn't show up, you can post it here: http://picasaweb.google.com/Iansignal/SignalSignOddities#5294722518898108866 (http://picasaweb.google.com/Iansignal/SignalSignOddities#5294722518898108866)

Bullet holes? Not common around Conneticuit but very common in Seattle's Gang neighborhoods. :wow:
I think more of Goldsby's stop signs have bullet holes than do not. Bored teenagers doing target practice, usually.
Wow. Besides the bullet holes which is very rare here in Vegas (it's not that bad here) nice button copy sign. Looks pretty new.
They're pretty common where I'm at on the verge of rural Tennessee.

See the stop sign. (Now that was probably a shotgun or BB gun as there aren't many holes.)
you want bullet holes? even barbed wire, go to Los Angeles :ded:
That's nothing, check out this sign:

North Dakota, on US 12, from Miles City, MT to Bowman, ND.
I can make out at least two different types of gun shots, with possibly a third.
