This is an interesting editorial on the Bay Bridge.

Not much of an interesting editorial to me–a few empty complaints captioning photos.  How old is this, anyway?  Sounds like a lot of melodramatic grousing from someone that values their own tastes a little highly.

I don't find the Bay Bridge hideous.  Is it one of the world's most elegant?  Probably not, but most bridges aren't.

This is like complaining that Florence has Michelangelos, so San Franciscans deserve them too.

Matter of opinion. The tower is iconic/aesthetically pleasing enough enough to be used in the Warriors' current logo. I find the Sunshine Skyway bridge to be ugly, but again, it's my opinion.
