Title: Hypocobalaminemia
Post by: bandit957 on January 20, 2015, 12:37:47 AM
Recently I learned I have a disease called hypocobalaminemia, and the prognosis is very poor. Probably not fatal, but poor.

This disease has permanently destroyed my central nervous system - to the point that simple tasks are very difficult indeed. It cannot be reversed. I can try to prevent it from worsening, but I can't undo what's already been done. That's just how the poo-poo plops.

It has already caused me an untold amount of economic ruin, and it's making my hobbies much harder too. But at least now the truth has been discovered.

Hypocobalaminemia. Live it, love it, learn it.

Sounds awful.  I take it you have a doc that at least has an understanding of the problem?

I do now. Until not long ago, I didn't. I had symptoms 15 years ago, and it was never diagnosed until recently.

This sounds terrible  :-(

Prayers out to you, and I hope you may stay hopeful and strong.
