Just out of curiosity, how much money do tolling facilities (Turnpikes, Bridges, Tunnels,...) take in on an average day?
- Which toll road takes in the most?
- Which toll bridge takes in the most?
- Which toll plaza (exit) or mainline toll barrier takes in the most?
I'm sure the answers to all three are somewhere in the Northeast, and for some of the answers the top toll-takers may not necessarily be the busiest in volume.
Figures are for 2013, as 2014 is not available as of yet.
The NJ Turnpike collected $1.006 BILLION in tolls in 2013. The NY Thruway was a distant 2nd at about $700 million in tolls collected.
The GWB was projected to collect about $650 million in tolls in 2013.
By observations, Either 18E or 18W of the NJ Turnpike would take in the most money, because it's at the northern terminus of the NJ Turnpike just outside of the GWB.

I wonder how much the Garden State Parkway made? I can't find any information on the Parkway for 2013; just for 2012 which states it made around $500 million, compared to the Turnpike which made $992 million.

Keep in mind that state-owned toll roads like the N.J. Turnpike and GSP do not "make" money, per se, as they are owned by the government of New Jersey.
But I suppose that we can talk about money "made" for the state in terms of dollars that are diverted away from the toll road agency to other (unrelated) spending, like transit subsidies.

Bar graph at the top of the page.
Note: It says total revenue collected. While that could be interpreted as all revenue including service plaza revenue, the breakdown in the financial statements shows that the figure in the bar graph is just toll revenue.
In FY 2012-13, the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge collected $228,291,245 in tolls.

In the fiscal year ending August 31, 2014, the Central Texas Turnpike System (Loop 1, SH 45, and SH 130 north of the southern junction with SH 45) had approximately $130,900,000 in toll revenue. That makes the daily average about $358,630. I'd like to see numbers for other systems, particularly NTTA, but I haven't looked for some and haven't found others.
NTTA collected $525,460,038 in toll revenue in 2013.

Probably not much celebration in the toll booth when they have a "good" day, week or month unlike at a store, bar or restaurant huh?

Not unless the toll operator is receiving a lot of tips!
The Maryland Transportation Authority collected about $450 million in tolls in FY 2013 (year ended June 30, 2013).
