Title: I-90 and US 12 rock slide
Post by: Billy F 1988 on February 13, 2015, 08:44:38 PM
Since the weather is getting warmer, recent rain showers have weakened some hillsides west of the community of Henderson, about 10 miles west of Saint Regis on the westbound side of Interstate 90. Traffic at the accident site is reduced to two lane traffic on the eastbound side and a 16 foot width restriction is in place.

US 12 is experiencing rock slide issues. Workers have planted dynamite explosives to cut the fallen rock to size for efficient loading. It is at the 18 mile marker west of Lolo just as you approach the Idaho line.

That gives you the idea of how bad it looks there.
