Does anyone take pictures of highways at night using long exposures? If I'm working nights and I've got some spare time I will find a suitable bridge and set up the tripod. Over here our bridges have guard rails about 4ft high but in the US they tend to have really tall railings covered in chain link fencing with holes so small that it's impossible to poke the lens through. Anyway, some of my examples are below.

oh yeah, been chased off plenty an overpass by the police. only terrorists use tripods - red-blooded Americans have steady hands, don'tcha know?
