Title: Road Meets
Post by: Dougtone on January 24, 2009, 09:56:27 PM
Where would road meets be best listed on the forums here, I mean in terms of announcements and whatnot.  Perhaps a separate section would be worth taking a look at.  Reason why I ask is that there is a meet coming up here in the Northeast that may be worth mentioning.  This would also be useful for future

As for that upcoming meet I mentioned, it's the Upper Delaware River Valley Meet on February 21, 2009, basically in Pike County PA as well as Orange and Sullivan Counties in NY.  I'm not running the meet, but since I do have it listed on Gribblenation, I figured I'd advertise it.  Do go to http://www.gribblenation.net/meets/ (http://www.gribblenation.net/meets/) for more details.

There needs to be a Seattle Roads meet near the Alaskan Way Viaduct's US 99 sign...

Just about any city in the US could support a road meet, really. There just has to be enough roads to make it interesting and worthwhile for people to show up. I'm planning a two-day meet for Oklahoma City this summer.

Any upcoming meets in the Syracuse, NY area?  I've always wanted to go to a meet, but I never had one close enough to me!
