Title: Covered Bridges of Perry County, Pennsylvania
Post by: Dougtone on July 21, 2015, 12:43:02 PM
Over the past weekend, my travels took me through Perry County, Pennsylvania. Upon looking at my PA state atlas, I noted that there are plenty of covered bridges along the PA 274 corridor (all scenic farm country). While checking out covered bridges is always a fun pastime of mine, I was surprised that for having over a dozen covered bridges in the county, that there wasn't a covered bridge scenic tour route like there is in Ashtabula County, Ohio and Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania.

Just in case you hadn't seen them previously, Bucks County, PA has 12 covered bridges remaining.
The county borders Philadelphia, so it's all about the tourism generated..
