The Politico issue has a very good photo gallery of Peter Andrew's overhead shots of interchanges.

Here's a direct link to it: http://www.politico.com/magazine/gallery/2015/07/the-art-of-the-interchange/002289-032871.html#.VbBc2nivOok (http://www.politico.com/magazine/gallery/2015/07/the-art-of-the-interchange/002289-032871.html#.VbBc2nivOok)

Fascinating that someone who could be labeled as a non-roadfan would come up with this online gallery.  While I like that the I-27/I-40 interchange in Amarillo was included (even as the caption spent more time with the gun-toting habits of his pilot (??)), I wonder why none of the DFW or Houston-area interchanges (including Dallas' High Five) were included.

I enjoyed the narrative about Wisconsin (http://www.politico.com/agenda/story/2015/07/transportation-infrastructure-scott-walker-highways-000153).
