These are some rather interesting signals. This is Park Ave at Canton Ave in Winter Park, FL. This is the only place I have seen a green WALK indication.
There are several intersections with a similar setup. I'm wondering if this equipment is original, or if they installed vintage equipment to be unique.

From what I understand, the signals are all new (the 4-ways were made by Teeco, who made 4-ways up until this year or last and the peds are designed to look like the old ones). I really want to go down there though since that's probably the last place in the US where you can find wait/walk peds in service.
Glad to see 4-Way signals still in service in 2015, only too soon be replaced with lame modern crap!

I haven't seen those types of signals since I went to Central Park in the 1990's.
A modern setup made to look "old."
Hey if NYC can still use the double guy on even the new signals replacing the old red and green signals heads in Rockaway Beach, NY, then can Florida. Although, been there and have seen them in person, I can tell you that they are replicas made just for aesthetics.

Wait a minute; They have this in Rockaway Beach? :-o :wow:
Fredericksburg VA still has at least one assembly with a green WALK signal.

Most of the intersections downtown have these vintage signals but most of the WALK signals are white.

Interestingly, in much of the world except the United States and most of Canada, pedestrian signals are red/green instead of Portland Orange/Lunar White. In addition, many countries use circular heads instead of square ones. However, they have been symbolic for many years in much of the world well before the United States and Canada.

I must've been in the wrong parts of the peninsula.
