Title: Cintra Related Projects
Post by: Guysdrive780 on August 20, 2015, 01:21:00 PM
Cintra is a toll road Development company based in Madrid, Spain. Why am I bringing this up? Well I don't see a form on it so might as well. For one thing they have appeared in projects in my area. But not just in my area. Let me name all of the toll roads that they currently are a part of.

The Chicago Skyway
LBJ Express
NT Express
Ontario 407 ETR/407 EDG
BBY Toll Road (Colombia)
Alcalá-O´Donnell Highway
Autopista del Sol Highway
Texas SH 130
Central Greece Highway
M4/ M6

Its not all of them but we get the idea.

I wanted to start this discussion on opinions of this company. Also talk about Cintra Development.

I find it funny that the Indiana Toll Road was leased to Cintra because the Governor needed some more funding for I-69. I would have found it a much better idea to just Toll I-69 thru south Indiana

Then you'd make a crappy politician. The ITR carries mostly out of state traffic. I-69 will carry a lot of in-state traffic between Indianapolis and Evansville. The people who vote in your elections get kind of upset when you saddle them with a bunch of extra cost. The people who don't vote in your elections probably don't like it any better, but who cares what they think.
