WSDOT is very good about clearly marking the I.D. number on each of its bridges. However, when a state route is decommissioned, they seem to not bother removing these signs from bridges, which gives us a glimpse into the past and shows a road's previous state designation.
Let's start a picture thread of bridges statewide with I.D. tags showing the old route and bridge number.
I'll start...
NE 85th St (former WA-908) over the old railroad tracks in Kirkland (just west of I-405):

W Meeker St (former WA-516) in Kent:

68th Ave S (former WA-181) in Kent:

It's been a long time since I've walked over it, or even driven it, but I believe the University Bridge (Eastlake Ave over the ship canal) has one that says 1-BO (the Bothell branch of PSH 1, which later became SR 522).
ETA: Confirmed (https://www.google.com/maps/@47.6516851,-122.321184,3a,30y,98.07h,65.89t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sRojn95suRNioj_SwTfK-XQ!2e0!7i13312!8i6656), though obviously I meant to say 2-BO, not 1.
Wow, that's in great shape considering it's from before 1964. Great catch!
State Street in Bellingham, from before 1975, when WA-11 went through downtown:

Although this bridge is technically still in the state highway system, the sign on the Montlake Bridge in Seattle still says "1J/2":

On Marine View Dr S (former alignment of WA-509) in Des Moines:

Fourth Plain Blvd (former alignment of WA-501) over the railroad tracks in Vancouver:

Found another one on old SR 501/4th Plain Blvd. It's at the interchange with I-5.

I'm surprised it still says "2-BO". I saw a Chevron Map from 1967, showing the bridge as having the SR 522 designation.

The current numbering system was developed in 1964, as thefraze said.

I'm well aware of that. I'm just saying, I'm surprised they never replaced the "2-BO" plate with a "522" plate before they truncated SR 522 to its current end at I-5.
