Does anybody know Nevada posted signs that said Reasonable and Proper prior to NMSL?
I do not know how it was posted in the field but I do know that the February 1968 National Geographic article "America's Growing Interstate System", commenting on the subject of speed limits noted that Nevada was posted as "Reasonable and Proper" while Montana was "Reasonable and Prudent". (Anybody that has never seen this article should check it out as it was not only fairly well written but also had some really cool pics.)
I read that article as well. It talked about the 80 mph limit on the Kansas Turnpike.
I'm wondering if Nevada posted a "Reasonable and Proper" sign at the state line like Montana did with their "Reasonable and Prudent" signs.
I wish I could give you an answer. This was well before my time.
FWIW, I've never seen a picture of one...
