Aaarghh!! Just when I actually got through the whole season without once hearing that gawdawful song on the radio, you've stuck it in my head! :banghead:
After helping the Wife prep for tonight's family dinner, I went out for a long drive -- south to Toledo, east on the Ohio Turnpike for a stretch, then turned around and back home. Left the house at 11:00pm and returned about 3:30am. Nice night drive, very little traffic.

A good chunk of eastern Canada and US doesn't have snow, as well as the Pacific Northwest and the southern US states.
I guess you can say that most of the world (in terms of population) doesn't have snow. Anywhere between the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn for example.
Snow shouldn't be a factor in how much one enjoy's their Christmas IMO. Just enjoy the season as much as you can with friends and family.

As Zeffy & Noel hinted at, while most Christmas's aren't white, at least they're normally quite a bit chiller, at least around these parts of the country. Having a record high of 74 degrees in the Philly area meant that ugly sweater party we had last night was a wee bit warm for sweaters. I still wore mine...with a t-shirt underneath while wearing shorts. Numerous people turned on their air conditioning. And because of the rain and dampness, it's overly humid as well.
Those in the south are used to a warm Christmas. Not so much up north!

Bits of the Seattle area did have a white Christmas this year (very unusual), but the mountains (Cascades) have received over 15 feet of snow just in the past month. I-90 over Snoqualmie Pass was closed indefinitely until this morning. People had to abandon their cars, the power was out, and there were avalanches and fallen trees over the roadway. It was, overall, a total disaster.
