Apparently earlier this month, several guide signs were replaced on I-80 in Solano County. As noted from the Daily Republic at http://www.dailyrepublic.com/news/fairfield/caltrans-closing-solano-freeway-access-ramps-to-install-new-signs/, here are the new reflective sign locations:
Quote
I-80 eastbound and westbound ramps at Georgia Street.
I-80 eastbound and westbound ramps at Springs Road.
Westbound I-80 connectors to eastbound and westbound Highway 37.
I-80 American Canyon/Hiddenbrooke Parkway ramps.
I-80 westbound off-ramp and I-80 eastbound on-ramp at Red Top Road.
Highway 12 eastbound connector to eastbound I-80.
I have not seen sign plans for these locations.
Andy,
I started a discussion on this project as well as others planned throughout the S.F. Bay Area at https://www.aaroads.com/forum/index.php?topic=16485.0 (District 4/S.F. Bay Area - Major Sign Replacement Projects). While I didn't link to each of the project's plans I will do so here...
* Alameda County (04-2J1404) (http://www.dot.ca.gov/hq/esc/oe/project_ads_addenda/04/04-2J1404/plans/)
* Contra Costa County (04-2J1504) (http://www.dot.ca.gov/hq/esc/oe/project_ads_addenda/04/04-2J1504/plans/)
* Solano County (04-2J1604) (http://www.dot.ca.gov/hq/esc/oe/project_ads_addenda/04/04-2J1604/plans/)
* Santa Clara County (04-2J1704) (http://www.dot.ca.gov/hq/esc/oe/project_ads_addenda/04/04-2J1704/plans/)
* Marin/Napa/Sonoma Counties (04-2J1804) (http://www.dot.ca.gov/hq/esc/oe/project_ads_addenda/04/04-2J1804/plans/)
Thanks! For some reason I thought Solano was not in District 4, hence why I didn't make the connection.
