Streetwise, makers of the laminated little fold-out map that featured various metro areas and points of interest worldwide, is going to be calling it a day soon. So if you like their products, they may disappear soon from the shelves.

Meanwhile, it looks like Garmin, who bought out DeLorme earlier this year, will actually continue (and invest more $$ in) DeLorme's atlas/gazetteer publishing. I'm pleasantly surprised.
